Michelle Sheena, Ph.D.
Graduate Student in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at University of Illinois Chicago
Michelle is currently a graduate student in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at UIC. She graduated from Tulane University in 2016 with a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience, and double minors in Spanish and studio art. Michelle worked under the joint mentorship between Katie Burkhouse and Olusola Ajilore to complete her doctoral degree in neuroscience at UIC in 2024. She is finishing her medical school training at UIC before applying to residency.
