Prospective Undergraduate Students
The FAM Lab is reviewing undergraduate research assistant applications on a rolling basis.
Interested undergraduates should fill out the undergraduate research assistant form below and email FAMLab@psu.edu your resume/CV.
As an undergraduate research assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop vital research skills (such as EEG preprocessing, participant recruitment, data quality control, and more!) while investigating the transmission of depressive disorders from parent to offspring and exploring early interventions for depressive disorders in youth. Undergraduate RA’s will also play an active role in the development and set-up of a new lab. Applicants should be interested in working with children, adolescents, and families. They must be responsible, highly motivated, organized, reliable, and dedicated to producing high-quality work and maintaining an inclusive lab environment. Applicants must be willing to commit to at least two semesters working in the FAM lab and will have the option to volunteer or receive class credit.
