Harper Smith

Harper Smith is a second-year Schreyer Honors scholar currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology on the Life Sciences track. Harper joined the FAM lab in June 2026 and is interested in child development, early childhood experiences, and how environmental factors shape cognitive and emotional growth. She enjoys being part of a collaborative environment and hopes to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible as she works in the lab. At Penn State, Harper is involved in service and advocacy work supporting children and families. She intends to pursue graduate school with a focus on child-centered research, aiming to bring this into family law in the future. In her free time, Harper enjoys reading, going on walks, and listening to music.
