Alexandra is a first-year psychology doctoral student at Penn State. She graduated from the University of Delaware in 2021, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience, and completed a minor in public health. She gained two years of clinical research experience after her undergraduate career with Jennifer Silk and Cecile Ladouceur at the University of Pittsburgh. Alex’s research interests include leveraging multiple units of analysis to explore the interplay of social and cognitive-affective processes as they contribute to internalizing disorders across the developmental trajectory, as well as exploring preventative interventions for youth at risk for internalizing disorders. In her free time, Alex enjoys baking and walking her dog, Finley!
