Rebecca graduated from the University of Rochester in spring 2025 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a minor in mathematics. As an honors student, she gained research experience through working in Starr Lab and Mount Hope Family Center where she mainly studied internalizing disorders, child development, and emotion processes. She joined the FAM lab in September of 2025. She is passionate about affective science and understanding the multifaceted factors that shape children’s and adolescents’ vulnerability to depression. She hopes to contribute to early intervention and prevention efforts. In the future, Rebecca plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and advance youth mental health. In her free time, she enjoys cooking homemade meals, going on long walks or runs, and spending time in nature
